The Ribeira da Teja singularly defines the character of the wines produced on the plateau of Vila Nova de Foz Côa and Numão. The minerality of the soils, combined with the influence of the Mediterranean microclimate of Vale da Teja, lends the wines intensity, balance and a distinctive identity.

The carefully aligned vineyards coexist with almond trees and centuries-old olive groves, forming a patchwork landscape of rare beauty. It is in this unique setting, shaped by the virtues of Douro Superior, that great wines are born — elegant, structured and faithful to their territory.
